Higher fines under new residency law come into effect
Fines for residency violations under Kuwait’s new residency law, in some cases double the previous fines, will be applied from Sunday, the interior ministry said. Fines for failing to renew a normal residence permit for any reason, will be KD 2 per day in the first month and KD 4 daily for subsequent months.
